We believe that all children have the right to a high quality education.
Our flexible teaching means we can provide students with specialised support in areas like learning, behaviour and mental health. This includes students with learning disabilities.
Our junior school offers a range of core classes (such as English, maths and wellbeing) and specialist classes (such as The Arts, The Technologies, and Health and Physical Education).
Our curriculum uses a hands-on, individualised learning. Our staff believe in all our students and have a caring approach.
We offer the Victorian Certificate for Applied Learning (VCAL) to senior students, who can build skills in literacy, numeracy, personal development, and workplace learning.
Our different Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses give students experience to help them become 'job ready'.
Our approach at the Berry Street School is unique. We support students to set goals for their future - whether that's education, training or employment. We do this with an approach of:
3 : 1
Student to staff ratio. We have approximately 200 students and 70 staff
1 : 1
support for students starting at our school
